President Bola Tinubu will join the All Progressives Congress APC campaign rallies in 12 states ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The APC released a proposed nationwide campaign rally schedule covering all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. From that list, 12 strategic locations were picked where the President is expected to appear.
The campaign will kick off in Kaduna on October 24, 2026, and end with a grand rally in Lagos on January 9, 2027.
The 12 states where Tinubu may join the rallies are spread across the country’s six geopolitical zones.
This comes after Tinubu said he would not attend every campaign event. He said he needs to focus on governance, economic obligations, and efforts to attract investors.
Tinubu made the statement on Wednesday in Abuja while inaugurating the APC Presidential Campaign Council. He urged its members to lead the party’s mobilisation efforts across the country while he continues to handle matters of state.
