The Federal Government has secured a $30 million grant from China to support grassroots development across the country.

‎The agreement was signed in Abuja under China’s “small but beautiful” initiative. The initiative is designed to fund community level projects that directly impact the lives of ordinary citizens.

‎‎Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu, said the grant will complement Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Ward Development Plan.

‎The plan is designed to cover all 8,809 wards across the country, ensuring that development reaches the grassroots level, he added.
