The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final list of candidates for the 2027 Kano State governorship election. The list does not include the NDC candidate, Comrade Abdulsalam Gwarzo.
The final list features 17 political parties and their candidates. It includes the current Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf of the APC.
According to the list, the race for the Kano State top seat will feature candidates from parties including the APC, AA, AAC, ADC, ADP, APGA, APM, APP, BP, DLA, LP, NDP, PDP, PRP, SDP, and ZLP.
However, INEC has not given an official reason for leaving out the NDC candidate from the final list.
The omission of Comrade Abdulsalam Gwarzo has left many people asking questions, as no clear explanation has been provided by the electoral body.
