Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has called on President Bola Tinubu to prioritize the safety of Nigerians, just as his administration protects his political posters.
Atiku criticized the worsening security situation in the country, pointing out that the sharp contrast between how the President’s billboards in Kaduna are heavily guarded and how ordinary citizens are left unprotected.
”Bandits raid villages, terrorists attack communities, and families live in fear. Your posters enjoy protection that millions of Nigerians can only dream of,” Atiku stated.
He described the situation as a tragic reflection of the government’s priorities.
The former vice president said It’s wrong for the state to secure political images while citizens are left vulnerable to attacks.
”Bola, please protect Nigerians with the same urgency you protect your image!” he added.
