The Director-General of the National Productivity Centre, Hon. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, says Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf deserves immense praise for the massive transformation of the Kano State House of Assembly.
Dan Agundi stated this during a press briefing shortly after he accompanied newly appointed commissioner nominees to the assembly complex for screening.
One of the nominees was the former Chairman of Kano Municipal Local Government Area, Hon. Muktar Ishaq Yakasai.
During the briefing, the Director-General urged the Governor to officially invite former lawmakers of the state, dating back to the First Republic. He explained that this would give them the chance to see the extensive modern changes made to the legislative building for themselves.
Dan Agundi advised politicians to look beyond party lines. Lawmakers who truly love Kano State should consider these developmental projects when making future electoral decisions, even if they belong to opposition parties.
He concluded by stating that the complete remodeling of the assembly is clear proof of impactful governance. He reaffirmed that Governor Yusuf has done a great job and deserves commendation for his efforts.
