The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress NDC, Peter Obi, has praised Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for his many years of service to Nigeria, as the former Kano State Governor marks his 70th birthday.
In a message on Wednesday, Obi called Kwankwaso a dear elder brother and a partner in serving the country. He looked back at Kwankwaso’s long career, including his time as a lawmaker, a minister, and a governor.
”Your journey through the legislature, the Federal Executive Council, the governorship of Kano State, and national public life shows decades of experience, duty, and real connection with Nigerians,” Obi remarked.
Turning 70 is a big milestone, Obi added. He explained that it is a time to look back with gratitude on a life spent serving the people, the wisdom gained over the years, and the good things still ahead.
Obi also spoke about their shared dream of a better Nigeria, where every child has a chance, no family is left in poverty, and everyone can live with dignity and hope.
He prayed that God gives Kwankwaso good health, strength, wisdom, and many more productive years.
”May the years ahead be filled with peace, joy, and the satisfaction of seeing the values we hold dear grow stronger in our nation,” he concluded.
