‎Tears of Joy as Masari Awards Scholarships to 300 Katsina Students ‎

By Adamu Muhammad

‎It was an emotional day at Bayero University, Kano BUK, as over 300 students from Katsina State studying medical and health-related courses received life-changing scholarships from Hon. Ibrahim Kabiru Masari.

‎Masari, the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, gave N500,000 to selected beneficiaries. To ensure everyone went home happy, he also gave N100,000 to every other student present at the venue.

‎The gesture was inspired by a young girl who lost her father and was about to drop out due to a lack of funds. Moved by her story, Masari decided to help her and hundreds of others.

‎He urged the students to stay focused on their studies and announced that the scholarship will be expanded to cover other courses next session.

‎Top officials at the event, including Minister of Housing Muttaqa Rabe Darma and BUK Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ahmad Tsauni, praised Masari for his kindness, stating that the support will keep brilliant students in school.

‎‎Some of the beneficiaries who couldn’t hold back tears of joy, described the money as a massive relief that will allow them to focus on their education, while praying for Masari’s continued success.
