NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi and his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, took their campaign to Nasarawa State on Wednesday, promising to unite Nigeria and fight insecurity and poverty.

‎They spoke at a town hall meeting in Akwanga on October 28. The meeting allowed them to listen to the problems facing the people.

‎Residents complained about insecurity, especially women going to their farms, and the lack of help for people with disabilities. They also talked about the high cost of fuel, corruption, too much government borrowing, and bad schools.

‎‎Obi promised that if elected, his first job will be uniting the country, fighting corruption, and stop insecurity.

He also promised to invest in schools and hospitals, including building one good health center in every ward.

‎”Our goal is to reduce the cost of living, create more jobs, and lift Nigerians out of poverty,” Obi said.

‎He thanked the people of Nasarawa for coming out and ended with his slogan: “A New Nigeria is Possible, and Nigeria will be OK!”
