In volleyball, the Kano Pillars Volleyball Team also secured a hard-fought 3-2 win against Life Camp VC on Day Five of the 2026 CGC Volleyball Premier League.
Adding to the success, Kano’s Taekwondo team has safely arrived in Abuja for the 2026 Korean Ambassador Taekwondo Championship, ready to represent the state.
The Kano State Sports Commission credited these wins to the support of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and the Commission’s Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Tukur Babangida. The commission noted that their backing has created the perfect environment for athletes to excel.
The Commission also praised the athletes, coaches, and officials for their hard work and dedication to putting Kano State’s name on the map.
